Hi,

I have a problem when i try to drop column from impala table.

If I drop column from impala table and i try to select all from table the column is not in the output (it's OK).

But if i try to add a new column with the same type of old column; the select output shows the new column with old value (of old column) because in hdfs file data the value column is not deleted.

Is there i way to delete value column from hdfs file data using drop column?
