Description

Currently the information whether impalad was compiled in release or debug mode is visible from the version line, for example: Impala Version: impalad version 2.5.0-cdh5-INTERNAL RELEASE (build 056c06c7fdfac0cd46ea88b2c52082dcfedd94e1)

Profiles for a query are usually used to debug performance issues. If the cluster runs a debug build of impalad it should be very obvious from the profile output.
