Description

I have a table that is roughly 17.8MB and has about 1500 columns, when I try to insert the data from this table into a parquet table generated like in the example provided here http://www.cloudera.com/content/cloudera-content/cloudera-docs/Impala/latest/Installing-and-Using-Impala/ciiu_parquet.html?scroll=parquet_ddl_unique_1

Impala will only hang and does not complete.
