    Description

      Min/max filtering for inequality scalar subqueries have been addressed in the patch for IMPALA-3040. It is desirable to extend the work for other use cases as follows.

      1. When the subquery returns more than one row;
      2. When the subquery returns one row through: a) 1 row through a limit clause, b) one group only.
