Description

            for (Class<?> c = cls != null ? cls : obj.getClass(); cls != Object.class; cls = cls.getSuperclass()) {
                Method mtd = null;

                for (Method declaredMtd : c.getDeclaredMethods()) {
...

The loop traverses class hierarchy, but always checks the original class methods.
