Description

Currently, there is no way to delete caches using the control.sh script.

This feature is available through JMX, REST, SQL (partially), and ignitevisor.sh.
However, ignitevisor.sh is not very convenient to use - it needs to start a separate daemon node.

We should add this feature to the control script.

Suggested command syntax.

  --cache destroy --caches cache1,...,cacheN|--destroy-all-caches
    Permanently destroy specified caches.

    Parameters:
      --caches cache1,...,cacheN  - specifies a comma-separated list of cache names to be destroyed.
      --destroy-all-caches        - permanently destroy all user-created caches.
