Main issue is that org.apache.ignite.internal.processors.cache.persistence.GridCacheOffheapManager#updateState unconditionally returns true. "stateId" is pretty much always not equal to "-1".

UPDATE: that wasn’t the only problem, please look in the fix itself for more details.
