JDBC Clickhouse Retrieving Database Metadata goes wrong

    XMLWordPrintableJSON

Details

    Description

The handling of the db metadata within "Explore" is buggy.

With the "native" clickhouse connection every preview stucks because the database/schema have are not been retrieved and every table name is prefixed with "default" (no database name set)
With my generic jdbc connection the database meta is better retrieved

but when it comes to preview every query stucks because of the schema-names are again prefixed with "default" in the form of  default.<database[schema]name>.<tablename>

Maybe it has something to do with this. The retrieval of table-metadata inside hop components is sometimes incredible slow in the designer
