Description

I have an encrypted variable with a password.  I want to put that in a JSON structure using JavaScript as input to a rest-service.  That module is however not able to access the variables directly,  only fields are accessable.  So I guess that making use of the (de-crypted) variables would be an improvement.

As a work-around I can put the variables into fields using 'Get variables'.  This however keeps the encryption in place.  And there is no 'decode' function available in the 'Get variables' or the 'JavaScript'.  Adding such a function would be work-around for not having direct access to the (de-crypted) variable values.
