Hello,

 

We were noticing in a rise in the number of alter partition calls in our metric dashboard. Upon further investigation, it seems like we do not close the call properly. Here is the error. 

 

org.apache.hadoop.hive.common.metrics.metrics2.CodahaleMetrics Scope named api_alter_partitions is not closed, cannot be opened.
