As reported by https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-11938?focusedCommentId=14534949&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-14534949, there are quite a few FindBugs issues related to erasure coding. It would be good to get them resolved before the merge. Note the issues are not relevant to HADOOP-11938, I'm just quoting it for the easy.
