Description
Current description for "dfs.namenode.num.extra.edits.retained" and "dfs.namenode.num.checkpoints.retained" properties on hdfs-default.xml is not clear on how much and which files will be kept on namenodes meta-data directory.
For "dfs.namenode.num.checkpoints.retained", it's not clear that it applies to the number of "fsimage_*" files.
For "dfs.namenode.num.extra.edits.retained", it's not clear the value set indirectly applies to "edits_*" files, and how the configured value translates into the number of edit files to be kept.
