Trivial Description
Currently, with out packaging, since ${HCAT_PREFIX}/share/hcatalog/conf does not link to /etc/hcatalog, we need an explicit definition of HIVE_CONF_DIR to /etc/hcatalog for hive commandline to work. We currently symlink these two directories in the tar.gz script based install, but not in the rpm install. Doing so would allow hive commandline to work without the extra env var export.
