Description
In parent issue, its suggested we update our checkstyle plugin to match of intellij plugin default at least. Will need checkstyle.xml changes else it fails parse (See notes in parent by bharathv on what needs doing).
For extra points, do the ndimiduk suggestion: "...It would be nice also if we could commit the .idea/checkstyle-idea.xml file with the checkstyle version used buy the plugin pinned to the same version as we're using in maven."
