      Description

While attempting to compile the subversion revision 912317 checked out, I received compiler warnings regarding a missing function declaration for the function writev(fd,iovc, iovcnt) under FreeBSD 7.2. Compilation of the class library ceased as a result of the warnings. While looking up a fix for the source, I found under FreeBSD (at least 7.2) the function prototype resides in <sys/uio.h>. Added the header definition and compiled fine.
