Description

ABFS driver does not support the translation of AAD Service principal (SPI) to Linux identities causing metadata operation failure. Hadoop MapReduce client [JobSubmissionFiles expects the file owner permission to be the Linux identity, but the underlying ABFS driver returns the AAD Object identity. Hence need ABFS driver enhancement.
