hook up AwsSdkMetrics to hadoop metrics

    Description

      There's an API in com.amazonaws.metrics.AwsSdkMetrics to give access to the internal metrics of the AWS libraries. We might want to hook those up to metrics2.

      before doing that, someone should see what is on offer —and is it worth the effort
