      Found this in build #5440

      Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException
      at org.apache.hadoop.ipc.Server.getNumOpenConnections(Server.java:2434)
      at org.apache.hadoop.ipc.metrics.RpcMetrics.numOpenConnections(RpcMetrics.java:74)
