Description
As explained in the documentation it is possible to open multiple connection in the same view from an opened connection by using the guacamole menu.
It could be nice to add this feature in the guacamole home page.
Example use case : I have an application with two frontend servers. I want to open a connection on both server in a single view to watch the frontend service's logs.
- Currently :
- From the home page, I enter the "frontend" keyword in the filter. Connection to both frontend server is displayed.
- I have to click on one of my frontend server to open a connection.
- Then, I have to open the guacamole menu with CTRL + ALT + SHIFT, click on the connection name.
- Then, again, I enter "frontend" keyword in the filter and I click on the checkbox next to the second connection.
- Proposed improvement :
- From the home page, I enter the "frontend" keyword in the filter. Connection to both frontend server is displayed.
- I click on the checkbox next to the first connection. It opens a connection displayed in the drop-down menu, so I am still on the home page and my search is still active.
- Then, I click on the checkbox next to the second connection which is added to last view.
- Finally, I can click on the connection in the drop-down menu to access both connections.
