[GROOVY-6998] groovysh breaks terminal after exit (no chars rendered anymore)

Description

After exiting groovysh, the terminal doesn't work anymore. Typed characters don't show up. Hitting enter does not give new command prompt.
Typing "reset" (without seeing it) fixes problem.

Steps to reproduce
1) install groovy 2.4.0-beta-2 on ubuntu 14.04, open default terminal
2) type groovysh
3) hit Ctrl+D (or Ctrl+C)
