Description

      It used to be that I could achieve a valid
tag by saying

      html.html {
      body

      { br null }

      }

      (in a groovlet, e.g. from netbeans or tomcat)

      But now instead, it outputs

which firefox flags as invalid HTML. It also gives me two line breaks instead of one, so there is no way to get a single line break that I could find, other than using

      mkp.yieldUnescaped('
')

      I'm not sure of all the ins and outs of valid XHTML and doctypes (I'm not using one) but at the very least, the 'br null' behavior of generating
was useful.

      Thanks,
      = miles =
