Description
JDK 17 Schedule: https://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk/17/
The first ticket to suggest going beyond JDK8 was GEODE-3. Now that JDK17 is LTS, and Spring and other users are embracing JDK17, Geode should at least run (if not compile) on JDK17.
This may take a lot of work, possibly requiring a new major release. Please add subtasks to this ticket as necessary.
