Description
There have been many files in our CVSs that have non-UNIX end-of-line markers. Apache CVS stores all files in UNIX format. However, some CVS clients allow inconsistent line-endings to creep in. This propagates the problem to the distributions and thence to the users. In some circumstances such inconsistencies are known to cause runtime problems.
