      Description

      We should be using codenames for the skins, so we do not tie them to a site that may change skin over time.

        We now have a decision about skin names http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=109159244900002
        So re-opening this issue to remind us to change the names of the three default skins before release.

        There is some discussion about this naming convention in the early part of this thread:
        http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=108670208700005
        It seems that a resolution is not yet reached on the names.

        I would like them to be functional. For example i think that "css-style" would be better as "css-div" to indicate that it uses no tables.

        I would like to keep the tigris-style skin name as something with tigris and style in it, as it's an adaption of that skin. The version number is also important.

        Something like:

        tigris11
        tigris-style-1.1
        tigstyle11
        tigris1.1style
        style1t1

        etc

        Yeah, I know the heritage ... but then, I don't think Mr. Gump was much of a speller. :) Plus, I believe the Forrest logo is a "forest" of feathers, no? ;)

        I just thought it'd be nice to have a theme for the skins sanctioned by the Forrest project and the phonetic sense of the name just came to mind.

        Ah but with so many groves of trees, Canadians should be able to spell the word ... Forest ... one r. No, we are named after Forrest Gump, the movie, our hero of simplicity. (Looks like an FAQ coming up :-)

        How about the names of trees? Since I'm on the west coast of Canada, the examples I'll give here are centric to that area of the world. But, these are just examples.

        krysalis-site -> sitka-spruce
        tigris-style -> blue-pine

        Forrest ... Trees ... you get the idea. :)
