Description
In Flume 1.9.0, the default value of the allowTopicOverride parameter is false in Kafka sink. Although instructions have been added to the user guide, this is still not user-friendly when useing flume to transfer data from one Kafka cluster to another Kafka cluster. Especially in the scenario that flume upgrades from a lower version to a higher version while the topic in two Kafka clusters is different. It will make user confused that user don't find the data in second Kafka cluster. In general, setting this parameter to false is more general. If user wants the same topic in two Kafka clusters, user can set this parameter to be true. So, can the default value of this parameter be changed to false ?
