[FLUME-3034] Update SL4J dependency from 1.6 to 1.7

Description

Upgrade the dependency to 1.7.x. so we can take advantage of varargs without sacrificing binary compatibility. We should also modify the places in the code that use the object[] when > 2 replacements are needed.
