    Description

      The Flink Dashboard and HistoryServer lacks any kind of authentication but enterprise users are expecting that.
      The intention is to add:

      • Basic authentication for simple/less sensitive use-cases
      • SPNEGO authentication for highly sensitive use-cases

        New Feature - A new feature of the product, which has yet to be developed. FLINK-21108 Flink runtime rest server and history server webmonitor do not require authentication.
