Description

The DDL for ALTER VIEW statements is currently only supported for the Hive dialect, but not for the Flink dialect, which is restricted to CREATE, DROP and SHOW/DESCRIBE.

The Flink dialect should have propert support to alter views, specifically common operations such as renaming a view. This was not in scope for FLIP-71.
