Description

Steps to reproduce:
1.Change the keyboard to Japanese (having IME), change the input mode to Hiragana.
2.In an entry field use the space to convert to Japanese characters
3.Navigate with Tab to a PopupButton and press Space key in order to open the menu.

Actual Results:
The menu is not opened after pressing the space key

Expected Results:
The menu opens after pressing the space key.
