Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a pom to build the application with Flexmojos and maven
2. Create a spark application instance
3. Compile

Actual Results:

Application starts, but hangs prior to pre-initialize

Expected Results:

Application to start up normally

Workaround (if any):

use mx:Application instead
