Loading indicator continues to show when a large file never loads.

      Description

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. Do the steps in SDK-29262, "Spark Image doesn't display images above a certain size."
      2. Wait.

      Actual Results:
      You see the loading indicator forever.

      Expected Results:
      If an image cannot be loaded, the broken image icon should appear. There should be some way of telling that the load has failed, or no new data is coming, etc...
