Description

AtomPub is a REST API standard for use with the ATOM format specification that specifies the definition of a service document as well as a lot of the behavior or a RESTful API. This standard may help us with some decisions.

At this point I'd like to primarily suggest that we design the RESTful API in such a way that we can become AtomPub complaint at a later date. More research on this is required, but I think at this point it is mostly going to involve sticking to RESTful principles and returning HTTP response codes in line with those defined in the AtomPub standard.
