Support the PubSubHubbub protocol for RSS and Atom feed actions - http://code.google.com/p/pubsubhubbub/
This has a couple of advantages:
1. No need to poll feeds for which a PubSubHubbub subscription has been established
2. Nearly instantaneous action based on PubSubHubbub-enabled feeds
