Description

A user has problems when shuting down Tomcat in that Tomcat hangs and must be closed using a kill-9. This maybe linked to the derby.related problems. Based on conversations on the lift list (http://groups.google.com/group/liftweb/browse_thread/thread/bf498414b18d4226/4299ce36a03749f0?show_docid=4299ce36a03749f0) the solution may be to use StandardDBVendor.

An initial step may be to add "LiftRules.unloadHooks.append(() => dbVendor.closeAllConnections_!()) " to Boot.scala
