Description

here is the updated tests.

I think I have finally conquered dumbster. (Basically the problem was waiting
for the dumbster thread to start up properly)

There are a few other issues, style complaints, etc. changed as well.

I have tested applying it, and it ran fine.

Any problems please let me know.

PS. If we are all happy with this, then I will add futher validation of the
sent emails as we have previously discussed.
