      Description

If a rhevm instance is created with user_data, this user_data is stored in /media/user-data.txt. On vsphere (and previously), the data was stored in /media/deltacloud-user-data.txt.
      /media/deltacloud-user-data.txt. is required for audrey.

The patch to allow user to specify the fileinject path (filename) is now pushed. Also the change required for RHEV-M driver is pushed to master:

RHEV-M: Fixed fileinject path for the rbovirt gem

Now we need to wait for upstream release of rbovirt. I'll ask maintainer to bump the gem version.

Using rbovirt 0.0.9 and deltacloud git commit a16c34de06776f91fb68cc49e6e1f7d2c815fc01:

        • user_data is stored in /media/deltacloud-user-data.txt if the instance is created via the deltacloud server
        • Using the ruby client, this remains an issue with the user_data being stored in /media/user-data.txt

Verified this issue as fixed for the ruby client using rhevm.

See hudson/job/deltacloud-client/109/console (test run date 05/22/2012 with modular deltacloud) data_injection test is passing as opposed to hudson/job/deltacloud-client/98/console where the same test fails out.
