      Description

      Hello all,

I have just installed OpenDJ, my intention is to extend the schema adding a new new object classes.
After I have installed latest version of Apache Directory Studio and first time I opened schema editor it prompted few errors to me (22)

All errors are like: Alias "ds-cfg-identity-mapper" is already used by another item: object class with OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.26027.1.2.54

Consider I have installed OpenDJ from scratch using QuickSetup.jnlp:

Apache Directory Studio installed is ver. 1.5.3 for Mac OS X, latest version actually available:

      http://damore.xoom.it/opendj/Apache_Directory_Studio_installed.png .

Before installation I have also removed preferences:

      rm -rf Library/Preferences/org.apache.directory.studio.plist
      rm -rf .ApacheDirectoryStudio/

Consider also than when I saw those errors first time, just to be sure they don't come in any possible way from my work, I have reinstalled again everything from scratch posting images you see now:

May I ignore or correct those errors?
Apache Directory Studio is wrong in some way?

      Best regards,
      Vincenzo

I tested and I confirm it works as expected with the current trunk version.

        Hi Vincenzo,

thanks for the detailed description, you didn't anything wrong. You can ignore the errors.

This is a know issue in Apache Directory Studio, see DIRSTUDIO-454. We won't fix it for 1.5.4 but for 2.0.0. The problem should already fixed in the SVN so please wait for the first milestone release of Studio 2.
