Can't change 5-digit port number by typing

      Description

      1) Edit a connection profile where the port is 3-digit, when clicking in the port field you can start typing directly to change what's in there, change the port number to 12345. Click OK and edit the same profile again, click in the port field and start typing, nothing happens. You must use backspace and erase what's in there before you can type in a new port number.

        That's slightly different, and as you should be able to type after having selected the whole field, I reopen the issue.

        When I click in the port field everything is selected and if the port number is only 3 digits I can start to type directly to overwrite the content, if the port number is 5 digit and I click in the field everything is autoselected but typing the new value does not work, one must use backspace first and then type the new value.

        I agree with Emmanuel. The port input field is restricted to 5 digits, because also port numbers are only 5 digits.

        This is plain normal. The filed is not auto-selected, in order to avoid an accidental erasure. So you have either to double-click on the field to get it selected, and then, you can type your new value, or erase it by using backspace.

        I don't think we will change this behavior.
