Make the release scripts update the copyright year and version on the docs branch.

    Description

      Right now the build scripts update the copyright year and version of the docs. This is done on the fly and results in the correct year and version for the generated docs which are bundled with the release. However, the copyright year and the version could still be wrong on the branch itself and that means that the source distribution will have the wrong year and version.
