Description
Several times people have asked about describing ASN.1 data using DFDL specifically X.500/X.509 certificates and PKCS data.
Most things about ASN.1 BER, DER, PER, OER can be represented in DFDL.
The string character sets are not directly supported however.

These are all variable-width encodings. There are some characters encoded by single code units, other characters require use of multiple code units.
