      Description

      Using the servlet-protocol you can only define relative URIs which means that those URIs are only valid if they are resolved in the context of a particular servlet-service because they refer to the defines connections.

      If you need globally resolveable URIs, there needs to be a way to define globally unique servlet:/ URIs.
