[CB-9977] iOS splashscreen fading doesn't work anymore when autohide is set to false

Description

By default iOS splashscreen fading seems to work (I see it) but as soon as I set autohiding to false (using <preference name="AutoHideSplashScreen" value="false" /> in config.xml and hiding it with navigator.splashscreen.hide(); in the deviceready event handler), the splashscreen never fades.
