Description

Since nearly the beginning of the project, we've used commitlog_sync: batch in our test configurations. However, the default is periodic/10s. At a very high level, it seems like we should test the default configuration, and that might be enough of a reason to change this. In addition, we might get a bit of a reduction in testing duration out of the change, especially on older hardware.
