Description

Python 3.6 became EOL as of 12/23/21.  There will be no further releases or security fixes for Python 3.6.

This would be aligned with Apache Airflow, Beam, PyArrow and Spark projects which have deprecated and/or EOL python 3.6.

Developers on MacOS with homebrew can no longer install and use Python 3.6:

% brew install python@3.6
