Description

Background

The installation instructions are a little lacking. I'm proposing we add more explicit steps which are targeted towards users who are very new to Cassandra.

Proposal

We can improve the installation pages with explicit instructions for the following:

• steps for installing older versions to match nodes in an existing cluster
• steps for installing RHEL/CentOS package with YUM

I am preparing a draft with details to follow.
