Description
It would be useful if 3rd party classes could be notified when reads and writes occur on a table+partition, when sstables are being streamed out/in, and could also intercept the creation of row iterators from sstables. I have a v1 branch here. It illustrates the extension points I'm looking for, but is not necessarily the best api.
