    Description

      Camel 2.10 introduced the BridgePropertyPlaceholderConfigurer bean as a replacement of the Spring <context:property-placeholder>.

      The latter

      • may ignore missing property files (ignore-resource-not-found="true")
      • falls back to system properties if a requested property could not be
        found in the (potentially non-existent) properties file.

      This functionality is not available in the BridgePropertyPlaceholderConfigurer. It would be great if it could be added.
