Description

The word "splitted" is used throughout the Camel documentation and source code.

However, among professional copy editors and native English language speakers, use of "splitted" (anywhere; at any time) is universally considered to be grammatically incorrect.

In the English language, the grammatically correct past tense of "split" is "split".
