            Description

            I've received this enhancement request from a few customers using this component.

            They would like to have the TCP connection information for both the consumer and producer exposed as JMX attributes so they can see the physical state of the connection, and not just if the component is up or down.

            They would also like a JMX operation to close/reset a connection.
