Description

Until release 1.21 we published components "calcite" and "calcite-examples" as part of the release. In 1.22 these components were not published. I suspect that they were left out when we migrated from Maven to Gradle.

One consequence is that if you search Maven Central for 'apache calcite' the latest version appears to be 1.21.
